Speaking Out on Financial Abuse
“SPEAKING OUT ON FINANCIAL ABUSE” is a groundbreaking new podcast about the domestic violence issue of financial abuse in marriage and romantic partnerships. Each episode features a survivor of economic violence to tell their stories or someone who knows lots about finances and financial abuse in relationships (authors, advocates, organizations, etc). 99% of domestic violence cases involve financial abuse, yet the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) reports that 78% of Americans don’t know that financial abuse is a domestic violence issue. This broadcast hopes to change that via explosive and memorable interviews with experts and survivors of financial abuse.
